Several of the Tea Party blocks for 2018
Please note: Each month's block is FREE for the duration of that month. After that, the block is no longer free. There is a small charge to download it.

January: Cake Stand (and yummy cake):

February: Tea Cups
Here's a variation I did using one of the 5 birds on my Laurel Wreath pattern set. This is Cedar Waxwing! You can see four of the birds in a small quilt by clicking that link. I plan on making tea cups with all 5.

March: Tea Pot. The appliqué patch is 6" x 9" and fits very nicely on a 10-1/2" background square. Mine is slightly shorter and I honestly don't know why!

April: Creamer and Sugar Bowl blog post shows a second colorway. Seems like I'm on a roll with using the Mimosa fabrics from a few years ago (Windham).

And here they are made with updated fabrics. You can see my process shots in the blog post.

May: Urn Block blog post shows this in another colorway. Check it out! Then head over to Craftsy to download the pattern (free for May only).

  1. Thank you for the patterns. I have been collecting fabrics and hope to start the quilt soon. I was wondering about the lettering on the quilt. Will you tell us what you put or do we just pick out some of our favorite quotes? Thank you.
