Free Patterns

Welcome to my FREE PATTERNS page. As you have probably figured out, I am a pattern designer and am constantly making samples for fabric companies, magazines, my own books, calendars and for teaching classes all over the USA. I am swimming in patterns; some I sell, many I re-purpose because I own the copyright to them and will probably never publish them again (in print). So, I am more than happy to share these and I hope you find something here that interests you. Please do not reprint and distribute without first getting permission from me. Check back often because I add to this page a lot.   Enjoy!

Painted Wings fabrics inspired this butterfly quilt. FREE pattern for the applique AND quilt! (Added July 12, 2017). Enjoy!

Butterflies Quilt using Painted Wings fabrics by Windham
This awesome quilt is from my Free Pattern Friday post of July 7, 2017 (Christmas in July). It is called Snow Play (by Gina Gempesaw) using the Winters Friends Collection by P & B Textiles. I didn't design this, but I did do the finishing of it for P and B.

And one more shared in June 2017. This is a FREE pattern created with the Printemps Collection by P and B Textiles. Check it out. I call it Floating Circles and works very well with scraps!

  7. Hi Debby. I was also at your blog yesterday for the Pincushion Blog Hop, but there was no comment box on my computer either. I don't know if something is wrong with my computer or something wrong on your end. I do like your pincushions. So simple to make, but sooo cute. They could be decorated to match any room. Thank you for sharing them.

  8. Hi! I guess my computer won't load your current blog post completely - it won't show the comment box. So I tried one of your tabs to tell you how adorable I think the family photos in the windows of the vehicles are! What great play pieces, too - bored kids could make a blast with a pile of those.

  10. Hi Debbie
You taught the Beginners Mariners Compass Paper Piece class last year in the quilt expo. I took your class and it was great. I mentioned that I try to improve my teaching by taking classes from more experienced teachers like yourself. When I ask to use the pattern for my store you said you would wholesale the patterns to me for my class and store. If this is still an option please let me know how to contact you for ordering. I will supply tax info and any other information you need. Thank you. Loretta@AshvilleHouseQuiltShop.com

  12. I love your calendars and try to buy them every year, but when it comes to enlarging the pattern I don't seem to know who to do it. When I put the pattern on my scanner and enlarge it say 150% its way to big so how do I figure out how much to enlarge?

    Regards,
    Betty
