Lucky Star, March Block of the Month |
EVERYBODY! PLEASE RELOAD YOUR BROWSER. THE LINKS NOW WORK! THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.
Today is March 1 and I have had to write this entire page again. The link to the Block of the Month was broken and when I went back in to fix it, the WHOLE PAGE disappeared. So this will be brief!
This is called Lucky Star (on my unlucky day, btw). I am truly sorry to those who came early in the morning looking for the latest block. Here is the file for the rotary cutting:
Lucky Star - One page pdf of the 12" block
I also promised the patterns for the four 6" blocks used in the setting later on. These are Sawtooth Stars and you can also find the pdf for these also:

I may come back in to "massage" this page again. But, you can get the all important files here, and that's why you came anyway, right? (Or that's what those comments told me!)
Debby,
ReplyDeleteI guess I don't get it...is there a link to the one page PDF for the rotary cutting or have we received that before and I just can't find it? I'm talking about March...
I don't get it either. I can't find a link and don't know how to make this star.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Debby. Downloaded the files, starting to work on the blocks now.
ReplyDeleteThank you Debby. Can't wait to start.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debby, for sharing your lovely design. Fabulous that it is solids in bright colors. Very summery. ~Neame
ReplyDeleteHow it is March?? I still haven't selected my fabric yet. I need to catch up quickly.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Debby. I made a similar star today (but different - lol) and wasn't happy with the way the quarter-square units turned out, so I'm going to try it the way you did it and see if that works better for me. Your directions always seem to work well. I appreciate this Lucky Stars pattern.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debby! I am looking forward to starting this soon. Way too many UFOs to begin right now.
ReplyDeleteSorry to see you will not be in Chicago's Original Quilt Expo.
I look forward to seeing you each year.
