How can it be September already? We are getting a little whiff of Fall here on the East Coast and that means the leaves will be turning colors. I have a wonderful appliqué leaf that was one of my first designs in this Cookie Cutter series.

Unfortunately, the quilt pictured above was one of my 30 quilts stolen back in 2005. I loved that quilt. Can you see how I got creative with the little cutaways? Sigh.
I remade it in a smaller version. I was teaching this as a workshop for several years and I needed a sample!

Two Leaf blocks with the addition of the small cutaways. |

A single leaf block |
And just one block with four sets of those smaller blocks, spinning around the center. I love this sample!

Remember, you can see all of the blocks in this Cookie Cutter BOM. I made a sampler and you can read about it here:

Thanks for another pattern. I really like the cookie cutter leaves samples above.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie & thanks for all the free samples you give to us. I think that the link might be broke. Can't get it to connect correctly to download the leaf pattern.
ReplyDeleteCannot download leaf pattern. :'(
ReplyDeleteThank you for the patterns Debbie, the different examples using only the leaf cookie cutter are brilliant. And an added Thank You for the Safari Quilt, so cool.
