Free Pattern Friday: No Nonsense Jane

Let me show you some blocks I made for Blank Fabrics several years ago using the Nonsense pattern. This collection is called Jane. Hence: No Nonsense Jane (pretty clever, huh?)

The center 10-1/2" square is a perfect way to feature a gorgeous print. Why chop it into little, tiny pieces?

And one using their Begonia fabric for the triangles:

15" Nonsense Block in Cayenne (pretty hot!)

The quilt below is just the photo of the top. I know I had it quilted, but darn if I can find the finished one. But the quilt pattern DOES show it quilted.

Would you like the pattern? Of course you do. (No pressure to sew it; we just like to collect patterns, right?) Click on the link below the photo for the 60" x 60" quilt (15" block).

I chose the large scale floral with the black background for a more dramatic look. I used several blenders for those triangles.

    1. Thanks, Betty. I discovered I have no more of this print so I'll have to be content to look at the digitals. Those blooms are so beautiful! Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Thank you for the freebie! Yes, I do tend to collect a lot more patterns than I'll ever make, but you need to pick them up when they're available, right? After all, I might want to make this later! :-) I appreciate your generosity! :-) Blessings!

    1. You're quite welcome! It's an oldie but a tried and true pattern that is so perfect for a large, beautiful print, isn't it? Big blocks means you get finished quicker, too! Thanks for stopping by.

  3. Thank you for sharing! Those large prints do tend to be harder to use so it is lovely to have a pattern geared for that. Love the black one!
