It usually sits on a log cabin coaster that I made over 15 years ago, but I think I have found a new home for it with this block. The colors you chose are so lovely & you can't go wrong with a partial seams hexagon block!

You had me at "hexie". Lately, it has been English Breakfast in my mug. I bought one today (to stash quilty tools in) that is big enough to take a bath in. That much caffeine in one day and I would be wired for a week.

It used to be coffee, but as I've gotten older I can't always tolerate coffee, so many mornings it is tea.

ReplyDeleteWonderful mug rug. My morning beverage: at work is herbal tea with one sugar. I am trying to get that down to zero sugar but, baby steps. At home: a slushie with juice, crushed ice, fruit, pumpkin meal and homemade vanilla. Healthy and delicious.

That is one great mug rug. I must try that twisted hexagon -- I've probably said it before but one day I really will. The bird looks great in the middle. My morning drink is tea -- hot if it cold out and cold if it is hot out. And, my mug rugs get used for mugs and glasses.

Hi, Debby, I thought I commented last night, but I guess I only looked! That's gorgeous fabric, and I will love seeing what you do with it. I'll head over to Sew In Love shortly. I don't use a mug very often. Sometimes for hot chocolate or herbal tea in the winter. My morning drink is 4 oz. of orange juice in a glass. =)
