ReplyDeleteThis hexie hop is bringing out some wonderful work ! That was nice of Windham to send you 2 scrap bags full !
ReplyDeleteWow, Windham really packed those bags! Can anyone order those from them or you sew for the fabric company? I commented on your original post to enter the giveaway but I figure I have a snowball's chance of winning, LOL.
ReplyDeleteYour project would be perfect for an I-spy with bugs or a mix of novelties!
Yes, it has been fun to see all the hexie projects from so many creative people. Those scrap bags look like thay have some great fabric scraps in them. Thanks for the great give away. Nancy: rangerer@sbcglobal.net
ReplyDeleteI just finished visiting all the blogs that hosted today, August 21. All the hexagon projects I saw are beautiful. I wanted to tell you that I made a bug quilt for my Grandson a couple of years ago. I used bug quilt fabrics and I hand quilted bugs on the quilt too. I posted it on flickr. Here's the link to my flickr account which shows my grandson enjoying his bug quilt.

I love the way you present the hexies. Make me want to start with a fresh mind, and use the ruler, and the machine.
ReplyDeleteSo fare I have been doing it the old fashioned way, and it takes ages.....
