Quilting Calendars and a Giveaway

Block a Day Calendar
Today at the Martingale blog quilting calendars are featured. My block a day calendar is still going strong after 7 years! It's perpetual and not tied to any one year (not to be confused with the annual block a day calendars I publish with another publisher).

You can read about it here: Quilter's Block a Day Calendar

And you can see ALL of the blocks on my web site. Yes, all of them in full color. The CD has all 366 blocks in 2 sizes AND 12 quilt patterns made using some of the blocks in the calendar. AND I created 12 more patterns to go along with it.

I sell the CD for  $12.95, plus $2 postage (USA only). If you are international, contact me to discuss postage to your country. You see how to order it here: Calendar Order Information

Go see the blocks here: Debby's Calendar Blocks

And you can also see the 12 quilt patterns here: Quilt Calendar Patterns

And what's my giveaway? A copy of the Quilter's Block-a-Day Calendar in CD version.

Just tell me if you look for quilting calendars each year and where you buy them.

Contest is over Monday at midnight (EST) July 21.

I must be able to see an email in your comment. If unsure and you'd like a chance to win, enter it in your comment. No-reply bloggers are not entered in the contest (because I can't find you!)

Contest is open to everyone, including international visitors!

  1. I only had a quilting calendar once. I did enjoy it, but I usually just buy calendars from the dollar store so I can put them in several rooms.

  2. I don't buy the same quilt calendar every year. Last year I just had to have the bare McLean QU calendar because it is fun and because I know some of the posers and because it was totally for charity. Sometimes I buy them if they have nice quilt designs that appeal to me or I might buy them if they benefit a charity. And yes, I have bought them for gifts including your block a day calendar. Loved it.

The problem is I;d never get any work done to earn money to buy fabric to make all the things I can imagine with all those blocks!! what a dilemma!

  15. I have purchased a couple of quilt calendars in the past; the ones I purchased were more artistic than practical--I didn't buy them for patterns, rather for their artistic merit. But each year I use the Susan Branch calendar, so I don't usually buy another.

  25. I have had a few quilt calendars. The 12 month one I have hanging on my wall I'm disappointed with because it's just pictural and not a single pattern. Then I have a boxed like one on my desk that has a project each week or so and each day is a part of it. I have bought them at JoAnne's fabric and at Barnes and Noble book store.

  45. I love calendars! I tend to look for and buy them from bookstores, i.e. Books-a-Million and Barnes & Noble. When I see your boxed daily calendar I always snag it no matter how long it is from the first of the year. I've learned that if I don't, and try to wait for the 50% off sale, I won't be able to get one. Love those calendars!

  47. I've always enjoyed having a nice calendar each year. For years it's always been cooking calendars, but the past few years I have gotten quilting calendars. BUT, the really great part is that at least one of my children have been who has found them and given them to me for Christmas. YAY! Now I need to get him to buy gift certificates for fabric next. LOL

I had one just like the ones you're giving away one year that I bought and I loved it. I've not gotten one since although I have no reason why other than my son has been giving me the quilt calendars the past few years.
