Giveaway Winner, Quilts and Another Tutorial

It was a challenge to find a winner for my Little Katerina blog post! The Random Number Generator kept giving me a number that came up with a "no-reply" comment post (several, if you must know). Then I found a LIVE email and sent her not one but two notices that she WON. Never heard from her. Gave her 4 days. Then I selected the 10th time and BINGO!

My winner is Sally W of Vancouver, Washington. Congratulations, Sally!

I have a new pattern with Keepsake Quilting catalog and Audrey discovered that the pattern was out of stock and wrote to me directly to buy one. She got it just in time to make her version for a baby shower gift. Isn't it lovely?

And here is how it appears in the catalog:

And now for a quick gift you CAN make in time for Christmas. This is a link to a blog I follow - Geta's Quilting Studio. I am making one of these for my 3 daughters and 2 sons in law (please don't tell them). And maybe for my two little grandsons with some dollar bills tucked inside.

Quick and easy card holder
I am looking forward to a house full of my daughters, sons in law, and grandchildren next week. Chaos? Of course. But we always leave laughter in the walls!

  3. I guess I must be one of those who have the no reply. Are we supposed to be clicking on the email follow-up comments when we leave a comment? I guess that confuses me because if I click that then I get an email every time someone makes a comment but I can try that for a while and see if that is what I need to do.

I know you will have fun with your family. The worse part about having my family visit is how quiet it is without them when they leave!

Happy Holidays to you and your faimly!

  4. Thanks bunches for the link. Sounds like you are going to have a joyous holiday. One request/suggestion .... Would you be willing to set your links so they open in a new window? I sometimes jump to a link before I've read all of the original vlogger's info. Just a though. Thanks for sharing this.

  5. Congratulations to your tenth-time-is-the-charm winner! Thanks for the link to the project. It looks like a great idea! Not to late to make it, either. Have a wonderful Christmas with your family. Bonnie (above) can set her own browser to always open in a new window or tab. =)
