Free Pattern Monday: Fair Play Quilt
Yes, you heard that right! I took this Craftsy pattern ($4.00) and have turned into a FREE pattern - but for one week only! Why? Well just because.
This is a vintage Ladies Art Company catalog block. I turned it into raw edge appliqué instead of funky templates. Very quick and easy for even the novice! 10" blocks, easy to sew with those 5-1/2" squares.
This appeared in my first book, Bold, Black and Beautiful Quilts:
This Fair Play Quilt is free for one week only. And you can only get it at my Craftsy Pattern site.
This is a fun way to play with curves without sewing those curved edges together, concave to convex (a little math trash-talk there, sorry).
Enjoy! See you later this week for an update on that Storybook Christmas soft book panel quilt and a little introduction to what I did with the shot cottons!
