Quiltmaker 1,000 Blocks Book

Yes, you read that right: 1,000 Blocks compiled in one massive and beautiful book. It's so heavy that I have to use both hands to carry it.

Quiltmaker 1,000 Blocks book
My first block appeared in Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks, Volume 4. And what is that cover like? I like the cover - my block is on it!
Quiltmaker 100 Blocks, Volume 4 (Winter 2011)
Each block gets one half of an 8.5 x 11 page. Mine is right here!
How my block appears in the book
This is how my workshop sample (and quilt from my book, Paper Piecing Perfect Points) appears. I love all that green and purple, don't you? What's fun about this quilt block is that it's super sized at a wonderful 16" x 16".

Take a visit to Quiltmaker's Quilt and Sew Shop and peek inside this amazing book: Quiltmaker's 1000 Blocks.

I've appeared in these magazines 4 different times and will be posting 3 more blocks they published of mine. In my humble opinion, these magazines are TREMENDOUS and so inspiring and are the BEST value for your money. But that's because I absolutely LOVE block books!

Thanks for stopping by. See you this time next week!

  1. I've been quilting for a long time and still love every second of it. Is the book expensive?

  3. Hello Debby! Your blocks are always amazing to me. Through the fabrics you chose, the pattern and the background; everything works together so wonderfully. I can understand how you have been in the major quilting business positions you have been, writing articles and patterns plus teaching classes and so much more. Congratulations on having these blocks in the magazines and in this huge book! The block you shared today is so pretty. I love it! Looking forward to seeing the other blocks!! Have a great day!

  4. Always good to read one and find someone I consider friend has a block in it, too! Not as in FB friending, but as in real quilt friending. =)
