Calendar-ings (and free pattern)

 So many blocks; so little time (unless you forgo house cleaning and your full time job . . .)

New calendar not tied to any one year!

I've been posting blocks from my calendar in the past several months. I've also shown quilts made from these blocks. My goal was NOT to give away the directions for each, but to show you how wonderful they are sewn up by my 13 Calendar Girl-friends. If I give away the directions, why would you want to buy the calendar?

Yes, I put a few hundred hours into getting this published. My motivation was not only to give quilters lots of blocks to stitch, but as an author for 30+ years, this would be a revenue source for me to pay my bills!

I have posted about and given away hundreds of patterns for blocks and quilts during that time. So, if you want some wonderful things to sew that don't cost you a cent, do a search here on my blog using the word "FREE" and you will be rewarded with lots. But, make sure you don't have to go anywhere for a few hours . . .

Sorry if this comes out as a rant! Yesterday's blog post had a comment about where to find the patterns. I guess I wasn't as clear as I should have been.
