Louisiana Blocks
Today is May 8 and our block is Louisiana. I discovered I've made this block several times and it really is a fun way with Flying Geese units.
Here is the block as it appears in my Blue and Gray Sampler:

It also appeared in my previous perpetual Block a Day Calendar:

Do you still have a copy of this calendar? It was published in 2007 and was a strong seller for several years.

Of course, this series of blocks that I'm sharing has the extra 3" strips around the outside. Yes, those Flying Geese point west. They point east in the blocks above.

This is easy to piece. Your calendar has all cutting information:
Of course, you will need your own copy of the calendar to know how to cut and stitch each of the 12 blocks. Remember, if you don't have yours yet, the 15% off coupon is still available until the end of this month (May).
