Calendar Blocks in Two Sizes: January

I own the rights to my own work. I'm so glad my first magazine editor educated me on that point!

My own quilt made from a January block called Prairie Flower is still a favorite. It was made with Fossil Ferns by Benartex:

January 6: Prairie Flower
Since the Quilter's Block a Day Calendar is no longer in print, I am able to republish it myself. I am in the process of recreating the CD I designed and did all the digital work on. Martingale (the publisher) reverted my rights back to me.

In the meantime, for those who are interested, I've created multi-page pdfs of each month of blocks. They're available in my Craftsy store. Each block comes in two sizes (which the desktop calendar, as shown above, did not have the space for.)

Remember these blocks from January?

Facets of Color

And you, of course, can see them on my Pinterest page (scroll down to the bottom for the January blocks.)

Here is what one of the blocks in the pdf pattern set looks like:
January 1: Happy New Year. 9" and 12" blocks
My price for the January 38 page pdf (with all templates included, full size) is $5. That's 31 blocks!

I'll keep you posted on when my CD is available. It's just a matter of burning them and finalizing the cover. All the hard work was done 10 years ago when I created it! You can see how it navigates here:
Quilter's Block a Day Perpetual Calendar. It includes the patterns for 12 quilts, too!

I'll be back next month with the February blocks.

    1. Hello Debby; I do not believe I shared the block that I made for a replacement in a BOM. I will find the photo and send it to you today in an email. I plan on using a lot more of your blocks from the Calendar I won this year! Thank you for everything you continue to share with us! By the way...Happy New Year!

    2. My goodness, I not only have your perpetual calendar but I also have the companion CD. Annnnnd, I have multiple yearly boxes of calendar pages. Looks like I bought them every year for about 5 years. Then I skipped up to 2017. I'm using 2007 for 2018 because those two calendar years have the same day/dates. Do they all have different blocks? I just might buy 2018.
