Free Pattern Friday: The Cow Jumped Over the Moon

Familiar words to many of us from our childhood:

Hey diddle, diddle,

The cat and the fiddle.

The cow jumped over the moon.

The little dog laughed

To see such sport,

And the dish ran away with the spoon.

Windham Fabrics took the prints from the old nursery rhyme and made the sweetest collection, Cat and the Fiddle. They asked me to create something and I used one of my cow patterns and had her jumping over the moon.

I also made a Moon Block, but I couldn't fit it in the quilt. But I'll show it here:

I let the fabrics do all the work in the blocks. There is a Cobblestone block and a Snowball block. The blocks are 12" and the quilt, as shown, is 51" x 51".
